This hotfix corrects a problem that inch value displays with metric unit in the “Custom Parts Builder” palette. It applies to AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013. JPN, FRA, CHS, RUS.

This hotfix corrects a problem that the options of the ‘_Plantpipeadd’ command are not responsive in command line.It applies to AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013. CHS, DEU, RUS.

AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012 Service Pack 2

This service pack addresses the following issues:

  • Schematic Lines: Corrected a problem that corrupted an sline when another sline was linked to it.
  • Off-Page Connectors: Corrected a problem that caused off-page connectors to fail to reconnect once a P&ID drawing was removed from a project and then added back.
  • Isometrics: Corrected a problem in isometric drawings for pipe supports that are attached to an elbow or tee fitting.  Corrected a problem that caused isometric graphics to extend beyond the title block.

This service pack addresses the following issues:

AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013 Off-Page Connector Hotfix

This hotfix applies to AutoCAD Plant 3D 2013. If a P&ID drawing is removed from a project and then added again, you cannot reconnect the off-page connectors. This hotfix will resolve this issue.

AutoCAD P&ID 2013 Off-Page Connector and SQL Server Hotfix

 This hotfix applies to AutoCAD P&ID 2013. Installing this hotfix will resolve these issues:

  • SQL Server: An AutoCAD P&ID 2012 project using an SQL Server database and SQL Server Authentication cannot migrate to AutoCAD P&ID 2013.
  • Off-Page Connectors: If a P&ID drawing is removed from a project and then added again, you cannot reconnect the off-page connectors

This hotfix applies to the AutoCAD P&ID 2012 with Service Pack 1 applied. Please review the readme file for installation instructions and details regarding the issues resolved by this hotfix.

AutoCAD Plant 3D 2012 Service Pack 1

This service pack addresses the following issues:

Ortho Drawings

  • Corrected a problem that prevented flanges on flanged pipes from displaying in ortho drawings.
  • Corrected a problem that prevented polyface and polygon meshes from displaying on ortho drawings.

Spec Conversion

  • Corrected a problem where unexpected spaces caused problems during AutoPLANT spec conversion.


Sloped Pipe

  • Corrected a problem that made it impossible to place a flange at the intersection of a sloped pipe and an elbow.
  • Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow to become disconnected after using the plantpipeslope command.


Isometrics

  • Corrected a problem that caused changes made to title blocks to disappear.
  • Corrected a problem that prevented welds sizes from being exported to a PCF file properly.


Pipe Cutback Angle

  • Corrected a problem that caused the loss of the cutback angle when using the substitute grip.

Report Creator

  • Corrected a problem that prevented Report Creator from opening projects that require SQL authentication.


Nozzle Tags

  • Corrected a problem that caused nozzle tags to reset inappropriately after using the auditproject command.


Plotting

  • Corrected a problem that prevented wipeouts from displaying in a plotted drawing, although they displayed properly onscreen.

 
Stretch Operation

  • Modified the behavior of P&ID objects and schematic lines during a stretch operation to improve the user experience.


Block Editing

  • Corrected a problem that caused changes made to a specific block in the block editor to affect other blocks in the project.
  • Corrected a problem that caused a hidden line (added during a block edit or symbol edit) to be displayed as a continuous line when a drawing is printed or plotted.

This service pack addresses the following issues:

This hotfix addresses an ortho issue as follows:

  • Corrected a problem that caused flanges to not display for flanged pipes in ortho drawings.

Issues Resolved by This Update:

Sloped Pipe

  • Corrected a problem that made it impossible to place a flange at the intersection of a sloped pipe and an elbow.
  • Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow to become disconnected after using the plantpipeslope command.

Routing with Cutback Elbows

  • Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow (or other elbow that is not 90 degrees) to become placed off centerline when routing.
AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix 2

This hotfix addresses sloped pipe issues as follows:

  • Corrected a problem that made it impossible to place a flange at the intersection of a sloped pipe and an elbow.
  • Corrected a problem that caused a cutback elbow to become disconnected after using the plantpipeslope command.
AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 Hotfix 1 This hotfix addresses the following issues:  
  • Creating a project based on another project - Corrected a problem that prevented the creation of a new project based on an existing project.
  • Exporting a filtered report - Corrected a problem that caused all data to be displayed in the exported report instead of only the specified filtered data.
  • Isometric drawings - Corrected a problem that caused the display of a component's long description at the point of connection between two iso drawings. The drawing number of the connecting drawing is now displayed instead.
  • Incorrect bolt lengths in PCF file - Corrected a problem that caused all bolt lengths to change when a longer bolt was required for a wafer-style valve flange.
  • Assigning a metric actuator as a valve operator (Catalog Editor) - Corrected a problem that prevented assigning a metric actuator as a valve operator.
  • Creating a second actuator (Catalog Editor) - Corrected a problem that prevented the creation of a second actuator.
AutoCAD P&ID 2011 Hotfix 1

This hotfix addresses the following issues:  

  • Creating a project based on another project - Corrected a problem that prevented the creation of a new project based on an existing project.
  • Exporting a filtered report - Corrected a problem that caused all data to be displayed in the exported report instead of only the specified filtered data.

This hotfix addresses the functional issues with some command line sub-options for AutoCAD Plant 3D 2011 German, Japanese, and Russian.
